Residents in the settlement Balkanska have clean and healthy drinking water from today on provided from the city water supply network.

The promise of the Mayor Blagoj Bochvarski has been fulfilled; more than 50 families in the settlement Balkanska from today on have clean and healthy water for drinking.

Municipality of Shtip received the project “Responsible Municipality that takes care for the needs of the citizens”, according to the Program “Municipal Benefit work” – as a part of the Operational plan for services and active programs and measures for employment of the Government of Republic of North Macednia for 2019 in the part of the financial support of the Operational plan by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.

540.000 MKD were approved for the realized project activities.

PE „Isar“ in the past period worked on the reconstruction of the water supply line on the street “Sutjeska”. This was a long problem for the residents who live here and the local government decided to solve it.

It was about renovation of 310 meters of main water supply line , 350 meters of service line and 230 meters of connections for 40 new households on the streets “Nikola Tesla”, “Proleterska” and “Astibo”.

The Municipality of Shtip continues with reconstruction and rehabilitation of the road infrastructure. The street “Krushevska Republika” in the settlement Babi has been reconstructed with new asphalt.

Municipality of Shtip together with the Ministry of labour and Social policy, Primary School “Goce Delchev” and the National Association “Poraka” invested in renovation and adaption of a room located in the school “Goce Delchev” for Day Care for persons with disabilities over 18 years.   

Municipality of Shtip through a private company will work on lighting of the entrance the city of Shtip. These are new LED lamps that will be placed on a height of 9 meters at Campus 4 on the new pavement, on the new traffic circle at the settlement Prebeg and on the traffic circle to the street Partizanska. 

The old windows in the Primary School “Tosho Arsov” in Shtip were replaced with new energy efficient ones, and this was an investment in the amount of 7,8 million denars with VAT included provided by the Ministry of Education.

Mayor Bochvarski in the name of Municipality Shtip, signed an agreement with the Ministry of Local government and the Bureau for Balanced and Regional Development to build another section of the local road Shashavarlija-Koshevo-Pochivalo. This is a section of 3500 square meters and a value of 5.6 million denars, a part of which will be financed by the Government and part of the Municipality of Shtip.

Today the Mayor of Municipality Shtip, Blagoj Bochvarski had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr.Miroslav Toman.
