Today the Mayor of Municipality Shtip, Blagoj Bochvarski together with the Mayors of Veles, Butel and Gazi Baba attended the signing of the Memorandum for cooperation with the Balkan Institute for Sustainable Development in the House of Europe, based in Sofia. 

It is about deepening friendly relations with the neighboring municipalities and strengthening mutual cooperation with a special emphasis on sustainable development.

This memorandum for cooperation the signatories establish mutual cooperation in the development of strategic documents, analysis studies, cooperation for applying for European and domestic funds for project financing, networking with other business communities in order to open new business horizons, transfer knowledge and talents, cooperation in spheres within the scope of the legal competencies and strategic interests of the Municipality of Shtip, such as urban development, infrastructure, economic development, development of human capital, energy and energy efficiency, climate changes and environment.
