The government of Republic of North Macedonia reviewed and adopted the information on implementation of the Project for building 14 swimming pools in the Republic of North Macedonia, which approves the start of the procedure for concluding an agreement for multi-year public procurement for the construction of 14 swimming pools in the Republic of North Macedonia and the funds necessary for this purpose in the current 2019 in the total amount of 30.000.000,00 MKD must be included in the available Budget of the Agency for young people and sports for 2019 .

Additionally, with the conclusion of the Government of Republic of North Macedonia, the Agency of young people and sports is in charge for the next 3 years to plan and include the funds necessary for realization of the agreement in the budget request for 2020, 2021 and 2022 and to the municipalities of Shtip, Chair, Strumica, Veles, Negotino, Prilep, Bitola, Gostivar, Karposh, Aerodrom, Gjorche Petrov, Kisela Voda, Tetovo I Kichevo recommended them to select and suggest the location for which they should request and provide a building permit.

This project is of a great importance to the citizens and young athletes who will have an additional location for recreation sports and socializing.

The closed swimming pool in the Municipality of Shtip will be built in the school Dimitar Vlahov.
