According to the report of the project “Monitoring the principles of the public administration in preserving the values of good governance”, financed by the European Union, Municipality of Shtip is the most transparent Municipality in the country. 

This is due to the fact that the Municipality of Shtip is always open for cooperation with all who have shown interest in it, open to the citizens and all information and activities that they share with the public.

The citizens are consulted and informed on time for all the projects and activities that the local government has undertaken.

Besides the other barometers that show that the Municipality of Shtip is a leader in many activities and this research shows that the Municipality of Shtip is the best ranked in terms of publishing and informing citizens about finances and budgeting.

This is the evidence that the Municipality of Shtip together with the citizens creates budget and that every vote of every citizen of the municipality of Shtip is heard.

The research covers 81 municipality in the state and the Municipality of Shtip has an index of transparency 61,54% and is first ranked on the list of Municipalities after the transparency barometer.

This is an indicator that the new local government differs from the work of the previous government, which has an example of non-transparency, but also an incentive for us to continue with the citizens, the business sector, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders in our municipality to jointly plan and spend each and every penny on citizens.
